Well it does typically tend to overlap with mortal Valentine's Day, yes. No doubt you'll be hearing all about it soon, I'm sure Dorian will be throwing another reenactment at the Gray Room like he did last year.
It's known as the Festival of the Wolves, informally. Traditionally a three night affair. Witches and warlocks pair off for the evening of the Hunt, hoods and wolves. In this pursuit we release our magicks into the night and hope the outcome of the Hunt points to a bountiful year ahead.
And naturally, when a hood catches her wolf, traditionally they spend the entire night intimately acquainting themselves.

and ok tell me this. a couple of things
when you release your magicks, what does that mean
a particular spell or just
energy going up?
and when you spend the night intimately, do you have to stay where you caught them? or can you take them somewhere else

When it comes to our holidays, usually all that's needed is to perform the appropriate ritual at the appropriate time.
Where you caught them, traditionally. But Dorian's recreations are hardly traditional, so don't concern yourself too much about the details.
