Here's the spell we talked about. Please respond via text. Or at least don't write anything on my skin.
[There are two photos attached the text. The first shows the cover of the book. It's a plain dark red with gold embossed lettering: The Simple, Straightforward Book of Spells. There's no author identified on the front cover. The second is a landscape photo that shows the page the spell is on.
"For the Concentration of Magical Energies (External to Internal)." The spell is a very simple thing and doesn't require any items. It just needs the appropriate marking on the individual to have the spell cast on and the appropriate incantation. The incantation is in English and composed of a series of rhyming couplets. There's nothing particularly notable about it. The page depicting the markings is drawn on an androgynous human body. There's a note at the bottom of that page that reads "To be applied precisely.♦"
The diamond is very small and will likely be recognizable to Prudence as the magical equivalent of a footnote. The actual footnote itself isn't on the page or anything else that Jon has sent.]
[At some point during the day, a black wrapped parcel appears on Prudence's bed, an envelope on top. Inside the parcel is a very tacky t-shirt from Duplicity's (animal) zoo. In the envelope, there's a simple note.]
Took a trip to the zoo the other day, thought I'd get you a gift while I was there.
[The note is signed with a black serpent, exactly the same as the 'tattoo' at Crowley's temple, so he figures she can guess who it's from.]
Peace be unto you. I hope this missive finds you well. My apologies for being so direct but I will find it easier if I get to the point now, and you can simply not respond if I've offended you. Would you be willing to help me meet quota again?
All of Nate’s gifts are delivered via a fluttering origami bird, which flies directly to the recipient and puts the gift into their hands. Once it’s given, the bird will unfold into a note, which explains what the charm inside will do, and how to activate it. When the note has been read, it will explode into a miniature display of multi-coloured fireworks, which spell out “Yuletide wishes from Nate!” and then vanish.
Pru receives a pair of earrings, black diamond studs. When twisted clockwise, the first produces an excited, warming effect on her erogenous zones, making them physically tingle and yearn for attention. The second gives her temporarily lengthened canine teeth, “because you’ll always be my lioness”.
me: we don't have enough threads together
[It's always good to start any conversation with prudence by calling her beautiful, after all.]
we can NEVER have too many threads
